10. California Institute of Technology (Caltech)
The university is one of the most prominent universities in the research. Caltech maintain a strong emphasis in the natural sciences and engineering. Caltech owns and operates complex space flight "autonomous" world leader known as the Jet Propulsion Laboratory. He founded the College of New Jersey in 1746, and was originally located in Elizabeth, New Jersey. This school was later moved to Princeton in 1756, was the name originally. His name was later formally renamed "Princeton University" in 1896.
